Forward Mutual is proud to announce President and CEO Lois Wiedenhoeft was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (WAMIC).
Lois was elected by District 4 members to serve as their representative on the WAMIC Board of Directors. Her 3-year term officially started at the WAMIC Annual Convention held in LaCrosse, WI on September 14, 2015. She is one of eight directors representing the mutual insurance industry membership on the WAMIC Board.
WAMIC was founded in 1913 to serve as a trade association for mutual insurers domiciled in Wisconsin. For more than 100 years WAMIC has been serving in the best interest of mutual insurance companies. Currently, there are 54 town mutual member operating under the 612 statutes and 9 domestic companies operating under the 611 statutes. WAMIC strengthens and supports members and the mutual insurance industry by leadership in advocacy, public policy, public affairs, and business support services.

Lois hopes to use her service on the WAMIC board to benefit Forward Mutual, its policyholders and the mutual insurance industry.
