Throughout our history, Forward Mutual has celebrated agriculture. From our beginnings in the 1870s when homesteaders gathered together to form the two mutuals that make up our company today, Forward has provided caring service for farmers throughout our area. In fact, for many decades our offices were held in the very homes of our company presidents, who were usually dairy farmers. Today a majority of Forward’s officers and board members are still tied to the agriculture industry in one way or another. 

For this reason, Forward Mutual is proud to celebrate National Ag Day on March 15. We recognize the importance of agriculture in our lives today and thank the producers, associations, businesses and countless others who work together to provide healthy and nutritious food to people throughout the world.
