For the first time, our reinsurance company Grinnell Mutual is offering a two-day academy entirely devoted to farm safety. We’d love you to be there to learn from Grinnell Mutual experts and guest experts about the many facets of the topic.

You’ll watch live grain-bin rescue, burn cell, and overhead electrical safety demonstrations; hear about employee safety, anhydrous ammonia, and LP gas among other things; and enjoy meals and a cocktail reception with your peers.

• The Farm Safety Academy happens Aug.31–Sept. 1 at the Grinnell Mutual headquarters in Grinnell, Iowa.
• Registration is through Forward Mutual on a first-come, first-served basis. We anticipate a lot of interest in this academy, so if you’d like to be there, please register with us as soon as possible.
•  The academy is free and includes two breakfasts, one lunch, and one cocktail reception. Your expenses will be travel and hotel. Grinnell Mutual has reserved blocks of discounted hotel rooms at the Comfort Inn and the Country Inn and Suites in Grinnell. When you reserve your room, tell them you are with Grinnell Mutual’s Farm Safety Academy to receive the discounted price.
